Wadlata Outback Centre

The Wadlata Outback Centre is a major tourism attraction that includes a Visitor information Centre that will arm you with all the information to enjoy your Port Augusta, Flinders Ranges & Outback experience.

While you are there, experience a taste of what you will see in the region as you creep through the jaws of Max, the giant Ripper Lizard to be transported back to the creation of Time. This unforgettable journey interprets the incredible diversity, the geology and the history of the Flinders Ranges to the Outback of South Australia. Meet the people who first owned, explored and settled there, while in the G’’Day Mate Theatre you’’ll meet the people who live there today. There is just so much to see! Open Monday – Friday 9am-5.30pm Saturday & Sunday 10am – 4pm. Closed Christmas Day only – Open every other public holiday as normal.
